Fresh Stock Of Sparco Club X1 Carbon Helmets
In the showroom, July 2023
A new batch of Sparco Club X1 Carbon helmets has arrived, and they are back on display in our showroom to see and try on. We have also added a silver mirror visor as an option on the online listing.
The Club X1 is a full face helmet for track days and fast road use, in open or closed cockpits. It is ECE approved, not FIA approved, so it is not for racing that asks for a motorsport helmet standard.

What is on this page
Back in the showroom
The new delivery gives us five Club X1 Carbon helmets in each of medium, large and extra large, and one in extra small, all on display to try on and ready to take away or dispatch. Supply of this helmet is limited, and we do not expect to restock it this year, so the showroom stock is what we have.
Smaller and larger sizes, XS through to XXL, are listed online with short lead times.
The finish is what catches the eye when you see one in person: the carbon look picks up the light and gives the helmet a sporty look. Under the finish, the Club X1 Carbon uses Sparco's Advanced Thermo Material (ATM) composite shell.
There are vents on the chin, brow and top of the head, which give a good flow of air at track day pace. The silver mirror visor is now an option on our listing for those who prefer a tinted look over the clear shield.

What ECE approval means
All the Club X1 helmets carry ECE approval, the road helmet standard. That makes them suitable for track days, fast road use and club events that do not require a fireproof helmet. They are not FIA approved, so they cannot be used in FIA homologated motorsport or in events that ask for a Snell or FIA standard.
If you are unsure what your event needs, Garreth’s advice is to read the regulations before buying, or send them to us and we will check. Our guide to FIA and Snell helmet standards explains the difference.
The rest of the Club X1 range
There is also a more affordable Club X1 in plain black or white, with the same ATM shell, vents and ECE approval. For drivers who need an FIA helmet, our Sparco range covers open and full face helmets with approvals from FIA 8858 through to 8860. In the showroom we have the Air Pro RF-5W full face and the RJ open face, both with fibreglass shells reinforced with carbon and Kevlar.
Each Sparco helmet listing also suggests matching items at the checkout, such as HANS devices and balaclavas.
