Our Bell Karting Helmets Updated For 2023

We have updated our Bell karting helmets with the 2023 models, colours and details of their safety features and approvals.
New on the site are the KC7-EV CMR and two KC7-CMR designs that carry the helmet colours of Formula One drivers Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso.

Hamilton and Alonso designs on the KC7-CMR
Bell has produced the KC7-CMR in two designs taken from Formula One. The Lewis Hamilton 2022 edition carries the purple and fluorescent yellow he wore that season. The Fernando Alonso edition uses his light blue, dark blue, yellow and orange colours.
Underneath the paint, both are the standard KC7-CMR: a hand-laminated composite shell on the aerodynamic platform of Bell's HP7, a double screen anti-fog visor and 14-channel ventilation. Sizes run from 54 to 59cm.
The KC7-EV CMR
The KC7-EV CMR is based on the KC7-CMR and keeps its light shell and its ventilation, with 14 intake and extraction channels. The difference is the view out: Bell has given it a larger visor aperture, for a wider field of view.
The shell is hand-laminated from carbon, Kevlar and glass, and it has a 2mm double screen anti-fog visor to keep the view clear in all conditions. Sizes run from 51 to 59cm.
What CMR means
CMR is the Snell-FIA standard for young kart drivers, and our KC7 helmets are certified to CMR 2016. It is required for younger drivers in many karting series and recommended for older juniors, so check your own championship’s rules. CMR helmets do not take HANS posts.

Bell helmets in the showroom
For car racing, our Bell range covers open and full face helmets with FIA approvals from 8858 through to 8860, in sizes from XS to XXXL. In the showroom we have the MAG, an entry-level open face helmet with a lightweight fibreglass shell and an adjustable peak, and the GP3 Sport, a composite full face helmet with a duckbill spoiler, four chin vents and three top vents.
Every Bell helmet listing also suggests matching items at the checkout, such as HANS devices and balaclavas.
