These Bell 3/5-Series tear-offs (BEL2030001) are a pack of ten 0.25mm clear films for the SE03 visor used on the GP3 Carbon, GP3 Sport and Sport 5 helmets. Each layer sits over the outside of the visor and can be pulled away in a single motion during a race to clear spray, mud or oil from the screen without the driver needing to wipe the visor by hand.
The 0.25mm thickness keeps optical distortion to a minimum while giving the film enough body to resist minor stone chip damage and peel cleanly rather than tearing. A pack of ten gives multiple race-weekend supply. In sprint events, running two or three layers per session and pulling one or two off mid-race is a practical approach; for endurance circuits where spray is sustained, a larger starting stack is common.
These tear-offs are for the 3-Series and 5-Series visor (SE03, SE05). For the 7-Series visor (RS7-K, HP7, RS7 Carbon), the Bell 7-Series Tear-Offs (BEL2030002) are the correct part. The tab positions and film shape differ between the two series and they are not interchangeable.
