The Bell 8-Hole Forced Air Intake (BEL2070120) is a full carbon intake adaptor that mounts to the top of the helmet shell and connects to a 30mm fresh-air supply hose from the car’s ventilation system. It is compatible with the HP7, HP5 Touring, RS7 Pro, RS7 Carbon, GT5 Touring, GT5 Rally and Sport 5. Unlike the passive top intakes that rely on airspeed over the helmet, forced air delivers cooling at any speed, including in traffic and at slow chicanes where passive ventilation is at its least effective.
The 8-hole configuration refers to the grid of holes in the face of the adaptor that distribute the incoming air across the top of the helmet’s internal channels. The carbon construction is both lightweight and matches the appearance of exposed-carbon shells in the HP7 and RS7 Carbon range.
Connecting a forced-air system requires a compatible hose routing from the car’s intake. The adaptor itself is the helmet-side fitting; the car-side ducting and blower are not included.
