A waterproof intercom with superb sound reproduction has been specifically designed for racing yachts and boats which run off the boat’s power supply.

This model is designed for use for up to four crew and also allows communication between the four helmets to the onshore pit crew, when it is connected to your own team radio communication via the push-to-talk system built into the unit.

The unit has an on/off switch, a power light, volume control, and a push PTT button.

Will it work with my helmets?
Your helmets need to be intercom-wired, either factory intercom-ready or fitted with a headset kit, and the connectors must match the amplifier system. Tell us which helmets you have and we will spec the exact leads or kits to make this work, in one go.

What do I need for a complete working setup?
An amplifier like this one, a wired kit in each helmet, and the leads that join them. If you are starting from nothing, send us your helmet models and whether you want music, phone, or radio in the mix, and we will quote the full setup rather than leaving you to guess at parts.

Is it loud enough for a race car?
These systems are designed around exactly that problem: a straight-cut gearbox and open exhaust are why sound-deadened headsets and speech-focused amplification exist. Set microphone placement right against the lips and you will hold a conversation at full noise. If your car is unusually loud, ask us about the higher-output units.
