The Bell 7-Series Top Air Intakes are a set of two top-mounted intake scoops that feed the internal ventilation channels in compatible Bell helmets. They fit the HP7, HP5 Touring, RS7-K, RS7 Pro, RS7 Carbon, KC7-CMR and KC7-CMR Carbon, all of which use the same top vent geometry as the 7-Series platform. Available in clear and carbon finishes, the carbon variant matches the exposed carbon shell on the HP7 and RS7 Carbon; the clear option suits white or painted lids.
The intakes are passive: they rely on airflow over the helmet in motion to push air into the channels. For high-speed circuit applications where airspeed is sustained, they make a noticeable difference in cockpit temperature. For slower kart circuits or rally stages, the improvement is less pronounced and forced-air alternatives (connecting a blower to the 8-hole intake port) offer better results at low speed.
Fitting uses the existing top vent apertures in the shell; no drilling is required. Installation and removal can be done trackside without tools. If you also want to add side extraction, the Bell HP7 Side Air Extractors work with the lateral channels on the HP7 shell specifically, and the two products can be used together on that helmet.
