A quick-release hub in bolt-on format. Part number SABM220SR6GRN. This version is designed for cars that already have a conventional spline-type hub or a boss adaptor with a 6-bolt 70mm PCD female face: the quick-release male plate bolts directly to that existing face rather than being permanently welded to the column.

The bolt-on design suits track day cars and dual-purpose builds where permanent column modification is not practical. It also suits the situation where a hub adaptor is already fitted and the goal is to add quick-release functionality on top without replacing the column hardware.

The unit includes a central wiring pass-through, which allows cables for horn, buttons or a wired steering wheel to run through the centre of the quick-release joint. Without this, any wired functions on the wheel are not possible on a quick-release setup unless the wires are routed externally, which most builders avoid.

Anodised black and gold finish. The 6-bolt, 70mm PCD male plate is compatible with Sabelt SW-range wheels and with 6-bolt wheels from Sparco, OMP and MOMO. The female side bolts to any 6-bolt 70mm hub.

If you need the version that welds directly to the steering column for maximum rigidity, the weld-on model (RFMO0002) is available separately. If you are not sure which applies to your car and column setup, tell us the chassis and column configuration and we will advise before you order.

What does it fit?

Does a quick release move the wheel closer to me?
