Analogue rather than digital is the whole distinction, and for a lot of people it is the right one. An analogue amplifier does one job: it takes the microphone signal, amplifies it, and puts it in the earpieces. There is no pairing, no menu, nothing to configure and nothing to go wrong on a stage.
What you give up against a digital unit is noise filtering. In a loud cockpit a digital amplifier can process out engine and wind noise in a way an analogue one cannot, and on a fast stage in a loud car that difference is real.
Where it fits
Club rallying and any car where the two of you need to hear each other reliably without paying for processing you will not use. It connects on 6.3mm female plugs.
The rest of the system
An amplifier on its own does nothing. You also need headsets or a helmet microphone and speaker arrangement for both people, and the leads to join them. Tell us what helmets you are running, open face or full face, and we will put a working set together rather than leaving you to guess at connectors.

Will it work with my helmets?
Your helmets need to be intercom-wired, either factory intercom-ready or fitted with a headset kit, and the connectors must match the amplifier system. Tell us which helmets you have and we will spec the exact leads or kits to make this work, in one go.
What do I need for a complete working setup?
An amplifier like this one, a wired kit in each helmet, and the leads that join them. If you are starting from nothing, send us your helmet models and whether you want music, phone, or radio in the mix, and we will quote the full setup rather than leaving you to guess at parts.
Is it loud enough for a race car?
These systems are designed around exactly that problem: a straight-cut gearbox and open exhaust are why sound-deadened headsets and speech-focused amplification exist. Set microphone placement right against the lips and you will hold a conversation at full noise. If your car is unusually loud, ask us about the higher-output units.
