A dark-tinted GT visor for all Stilo ST5 helmets, part number SLOYA0816.
The GT visor is shorter than the standard ST5 full visor. It covers the upper section of the aperture rather than the full opening, which suits enclosed-cockpit cars where a full visor is unnecessary and tends to restrict airflow or mist up. Production car racing, historics, and similar closed-cabin disciplines are the right application. Single-seater drivers and kart racers will generally want the full visor, which gives complete eye protection in an open cockpit at speed.
The dark tint cuts glare from direct sun without going to a mirrored or iridium finish. This makes it usable at dawn and dusk events where a mirror tint would block too much light, while still reducing the squinting and fatigue that a clear visor causes in bright midday sun.
The GT visor fits via the existing ST5 pivot screws, no separate kit needed. If you want to add a visor to an ST5 GT that did not come with one, you also need the visor locking system (SLOYA0818): it enables the secondary lock position that holds the visor closed correctly during a stage.
