Each layer bonds lightly to the one below it, so after a stone chip or a spray of mud you grab the outermost film and pull it cleanly away in one motion, without fumbling for individual sheets. The 3×3 pack gives you nine layers total, the right number for a sprint stage or hillclimb where you will not need more than two or three changes. The 3×10 pack gives thirty layers, the service-park number for a full multi-stage rally where conditions change through the day.
These fit the ST5 visor shape only. If you are running a Stilo ST6, the tear-offs have a different profile; order the ST6-specific set. If you use a short visor on the ST5 for closed-cockpit racing, tear-offs are less useful because the short visor does not cover the full aperture where stone chips typically land.
