A two-person waterproof offshore intercom with Bluetooth, part number DB0200-1.
Based on the same sealed aluminium housing as the base DB0200, this version adds a Bluetooth connection for pairing a mobile phone or other device. Two Stilo Nexus helmet connections cover driver and navigator, and a push-to-talk button handles shore radio contact via the wiring loom connection. Power comes from the boat’s supply.
The Bluetooth is where this unit fits a specific need over the base model. Offshore powerboat racing increasingly involves direct phone communication with race management, weather updates and media, and being able to take those calls through the helmet speakers without removing the helmet is the reason to specify this over the DB0200. It also lets the team route timing information or race briefings through the same system without a separate wired connection.
This unit connects two helmets. If you need to cover more crew, the DB0201 handles four without Bluetooth, and the DB0203 handles four with both Bluetooth and VHF radio.
