The B-G Racing Weld-On 3-Point Quick Release is built for race cars running steering wheels with a 3×50.8mm bolt pattern. That covers most Sparco competition wheels and several OMP models, along with other brands that use the three-bolt layout rather than the more common six-bolt standard.

The hub body is aircraft grade aluminium with a hard anodised inner splined hub. A 20mm steel splined shaft must be welded to the steering column. Shaft diameter choices are 5/8 inch (16mm) at 260g complete, or 3/4 inch (19mm) at around 280g. The shafts are cross-compatible with the hub body, and the system fully conforms to current FIA technical regulations.

At 57mm diameter the hub body is narrower than the six-bolt version, which keeps it compact in cars where cockpit space is at a premium. The master spline returns the wheel to the same angular position each time you engage it.

Finished in black anodising with yellow powder coat. A 12-month warranty covers manufacturing faults.

If your wheels have six bolts and a 6x70mm or 6x74mm PCD, the B-G Weld-On 6-Point Quick Release is the right unit. If you need a bolt-on quick release for a three-bolt wheel without welding, contact us and we can advise on the options available.

What does it fit?
The wheel side takes the standard 70mm six-bolt pattern used by MOMO, OMP, and Sparco wheels, and the column side mounts to your car-specific boss kit. Tell us your car and wheel and we will confirm the full stack works before you order.

Does a quick release move the wheel closer to me?
